Touring Brighton’s Middle Street Primary School

BRIGHTON, England — My studying abroad group and I got to visit one of Brighton’s primary school during our trip. Andy Coughlan, our instructor, booked a tour for us with special help from his sister Barbara Walker, the school’s attendance manager.

Our visit was so much fun because our tour guides were the students themselves. They made the tour easy to understand because they were direct and to the point. By this, I mean they just point out the obvious things like the toilet, classrooms, or the gym using mono syllabics. My classmates and I appreciated this a lot because we talked about how we wished people would talk to us like were five sometimes.
